Parchments Crash’s eyes glued to the prize money of the Grade A2 480 metres flat race at Perry Barr
N. Slowley trained Parchments Crash is the highly likely recipient of the £67 prize money in the Grade A2 480 metres flat race on Tuesday, 10th July at Perry Barr. Sharing the track with him today are Dangerous Goods, Danzey Major, Cals Commander,
Village Boy and Homestead Dash.
Crash’s lightly raced two-year-old fawn son started the racing career by scoring second in the career debut on 17th March over 525 yards. The race was taken away by, Gorteen Sonia who won the race in 29.12 seconds.
His first success of the career was on 28th April over 480 metres at Perry Barr. The two-year-old picked up the gear slowly after breaking from the fifth stall, took it from mid division and then led from the fourth position. It took him 29.74
seconds to rest the race while leading by 3 ½ lengths.
Finishing the closest to the winner was, Shiloh Sunset.
Parchments Crash then won a Grade A5 480 metres flat on 11th May at Perry Barr. Racing from the middle, the fawn son out of b***h, Gaytime Eva, went wide and led the quarter before racing on to time the track distance in 29.00 seconds.
The favourite entry of the race, Barracuda Max ended second after leaping through the 1 ¾ lengths gap, and timed the track distance in 29.14 seconds.
Coming at terms with the third position was, Mill Torpedo.
After getting drilled on 19th May, 2012 at Perry Barr over 480 metres, the fawn dog ended sixth, then second and then ranked fifth in the three races that followed.
Then on 15th June, 2012 he won a Grade A2 480 metres flat race at Perry Barr. He did not have an easy start because he got obscured after leaving the fifth gate and then forced his way to the wire in 29.59 seconds while leading by three lengths.
Finishing the closest after taking 29.83 seconds was, Hellroad Twister.
The two races that he became a part of after this success ended in a second and then a third position.
Parchments Crash has a 5 to 2 shot today for claiming the race. No candidate on the track is racing straight out of a training session or a success.
