Newcastle United manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hatem-Ben-Arfa-c15884 to emulate Luis Suarez and believes his player can become better than the Uruguayan.
The highly rated French starlet has been told by his manager to become as good as Luis Suarez. The Frenchman has been compared to the Uruguayan because of their similar playing style and quick feet, but Pardew believes that Ben Arfa has the edge over Suarez, and can become better than him.
The Liverpool attacker is perhaps the most controversial player in the Premier League, and has rarely earned any plaudits or acclaim from rival managers. Pardew is however a great admirer of the player and is not ashamed to admit it.
He has told Ben Arfa to emulate the Uruguayan forward and learn from him during the weekend’s crucial clash.
Newcastle take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 at Anfield this weekend, and both players will go head-to-head as the Magpies look for their first away win over Liverpool in over 18 years.
Speaking to reporters, Pardew said:
“I’ve been talking to Hatem about trying to have the same impact Luis is having. You could do a highlights show for him every week.”
Suarez has been criticised for going down too early when challenged by players. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes was the latest manager who called the player out on his theatrics. However, Pardew refuses to talk about the player’s shortcomings and his reputation, and instead prefers to focus on his traits and qualities.
He added: “He is an outstanding talent. You just have to see how many chances he creates and how many things he does in a game.”
Newcastle travel to Anfield with a strong team, but they may be without star striker and top scorer http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812. The Senegalese striker picked up a muscular injury during the 2-1 win over West Brom last week, and is to undergo late fitness tests before the game.
However, Papiss Demba Cisse is still in contention, and after picking up his first league goal of the season last week, the player is expected to start for the Magpies.  Pardew will be hoping his players can turn up the heat at Anfield.
