Newcastle United manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hatem-Ben-Arfa-c15884 and believes that the player will be a ‘huge player’ for the club next season.
Pardew is sure to have a headache when it comes to picking his first choice starting eleven. The manager has a host of players at his disposal, with at least two quality players for every position. Pardew expects all squad players to challenge for first
team spots and has stated that form and performance will be key factors in his judgement.
The club has a very impressive campaign last season, and to the surprise of many, were serious contenders for the fourth Champions League spot. The club were unlucky to have missed out on Champions League football as they lost out on the fourth spot by just
one point.
The Magpies do however appear in next season’s Europa League, and the prospect of European football and a very impressive existing squad has made Newcastle a very attractive destination for players who are looking to move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
Alan Pardew has singled out Ben Arfa as a player who can inspire Newcastle to great things next season. The manager has challenged the player to continue the form that had seen him shine for the Magpies last season, and helped him break into the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 national
team for the Euro 2012 tournament.
"He’s got massive quality and he’s going to be a huge player for us this year," Pardew told the English press.
"We must make sure he stays fit and manage to get the maximum out of him."
He went on to say that no one’s spot in the first team was guaranteed, and that he expects all the players to fight and contend for a place in the starting line-up.
"[Ben Arfa] won't play every game, as [Fabricio] Coloccini won't, but the one's he plays he needs to be at full speed and win us games. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonas-c18967 [Gutierrez] and Hatem have got real pressure from [Sylvain] Marveaux, Romain [Amalfitano] and Gabby
[Obertan] for sure," he added.
"We've got a lot of games and I need to know when I put them in the team they are going to do the maximum http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684.”
