Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was disappointed after his team suffered their fourth consecutive loss in the Premier League last night against Stoke City, and believes that they were unlucky to have lost the game in the final minutes.
The Magpies had taken the lead in the first half through Papiss Demba Cisse. The initial shot had come through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812, and Cisse pounced as the Stoke City goalkeeper failed to handle from the Senegalese.
Newcastle looked firmly in control as the game wore on. The score line remained 0-1 to the visitors up until the 80th minute, when Stoke scored two quick goals and stole the win.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew has already been under considerable stress, and now finds the pressure piling as his side fail to deliver. The manager was however happy to see his team finally put up a convincing and fighting performance, and believes that the wins will come
if they continue to perform on the same level.
The manager admitted that the defeat was hard to fathom, and has rued his team’s poor form in recent games. The Magpies have failed to build on last season’s success, and have been very inconsistent and unconvincing as of late. However, they finally put
in a good performance, one which Pardew labelled their best of the season so far.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the manager said:
“It’s a blow for us, because our fans who came tonight will know that we deserved to win. We were in a comfortable position, worked really hard all night and two sucker blows have cost us the game.”
“They hadn’t caused us a problem until a goal out of nothing really, and then a mistake for the second and we’ve ended up with no points.”
“It’s hard to look your players in the eye when they’ve delivered the game plan and put in great performance but you still lose. That is hard to take.”
