Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew reflected on yesterday’s 1-0 home win over Norwich City and was delighted with the positives of the game.

Newcastle had been having troubles with the star striker, who was apparently not happy with his current role at the club. Ba’s agent claimed that the Senegalese international was left bemused after being left on the bench in last week’s game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019.
However, the striker came on in the second half and bagged a brace as he led his team to a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park. Ba was clinical again as he coolly finished off in the first half, giving his side the lead against Norwich City.
The Magpies had the chance to extend their lead. They were awarded a penalty in dying minutes of the first half, but blew the chance as Papiss Demba Cisse failed to score from the spot.

"It was a big, big win for us, but not the performance that we wanted. The penalty miss definitely hurt us mentally, as to be 2-0 up (at half-time) we would have come into the dressing room in a different frame of mind.”
“There were some good performances in a kind of disjointed display. We are lacking a bit of training ground time. We are going from warm-down to warm-up to a game, and we are lacking a bit of fluency in our game.”
"There are signs there but we can't really bring it all together. There were a lot of good things today though."
