1. Yes i would layer my child in sunscreen, there is nothing worse than being burnt when your an adult its worse for children.

2. I will tell my children about s*x when i feel they are ready to be talked to about s*x.  I dont know when that will be but certainly by the time they are teenagers.

3. Yes i would make my child wear a life jacket, even when they can swim.

4. Yes i would have a child lock on my tv and also on the internet.

5. Yes i would let my children go online by themselves so long as they couldnt go on chatrooms (perfect for grooming) and there were suitable child locks on.

6. I will only stop my children having a booster seat when they reach the recommended age and height.

7. I will let my children walk home by themselves when they are adults and dont live under my roof anymore.  When they are under my roof they will always walk home in groups of friends when they are old enough, or be picked up, or walked by an adult i know and trust.

Prior to the start of school.(daugher was 2 when she learned about birth...I was pregnant with our son and told her the works)

Yes, I'm debating cutting our cable service as it is now.

In a supervised setting, in a public area of the house yes. Not for one of the chat sites though.

In Tn, you have to use a booster untill they are 12yrs, or 100 lbs...so that's what I'll be doing.(I do think that is a bit old for a booster though...but I haven't cleaned up the accidents with the bodies of the ones not in one either..so who am I to make that call.

Yes. Even though her skin will have more melanin than mine. When it's very sunny or we are on holiday..I'll cover her in spf 15 gel for kids & not let her go out between 11 & 2pm (midday sun.)

2.When would you talk tell your child about s*x? Havn't decided yet, when she asks I'll answewr simply in detail and honestly regardless of her age. I'll talk to her about serious stuff like contraception when she's about 11.

3.would u make your child wear a life jacket?If it was recommended for the situation...of course.

4.would u have a child lock on your tv? No.

5.would u let your child go online by thereself? Yes. But I'll only let her have a computer of her own at about 15...before then kids do not really need the internet in their life.

6.what age would you stop using a booster seat or child seat? Depends on how fast she grows!

7.would u let your child walk home by thereself?Yes. But only when she is at an age where I'm confident she will be ok doing that..Id probably want to give her a lift if it's at night.

     -late pre-teens to early teens.

        -in a pool no, in a lake yes to the 2 and 1 year old, not so much for the 15 year old

        -nope, I trust my kids and we are usually with them when they watch tv

       -the 15 year old yes, has been since she was about 12, the other 2 have no need to use the internet

1.  No, it is harmful from the chemicals and the sun has vitamins that everyone needs.

2.  I talk openly with all my children from the start, as soon as they ask questions, I now have adult children that will come to me with any question.

3.  That depends, if in a boat, yes, in the pool, no, children need to learn to swim.

4.  No, I am home where I belong with my children so it isn't necessary.

5.  No, children do not need to be on the internet EVER.  Research can be done at the library.

6.  Between 2 and 3, these end up dangerous to bigger children, despite what the EXPERTS say, I used to have to pick these children out of cars as my job.

7.  It depends on what neighborhood and where they were, how far from home, etc.

1. Always. My kids burn super easy.

2. 10 years. 1 kid down, 3 to go.

3. If they cannot swim, strong current, or lots of people around and they were horseplaying alot (mine are beginner swimmers).

4. Don't need it. We bought basic cable with no yucky channels so its a non issue. I've also taught them what they are allowed to watch.

5. Never, until mid teens at the earliest. When I do finally let them, they'll be looked at constantly since the computers are in the livingroom. No privacy for computer usage!

6. I just finally let my 10 year old not use one. In this state the age is 8, but I just wanted her safe. She liked sitting up high, thankfully.

7. Nope. Maybe this year since the bus stop is viewable (and less than a block) to our house. This previous school year I walked them (eldest in 4th grade) daily the 10 minutes to school.

Hold out as long as possible and they will ask, we don't need to fill our kids heads with that just yet.  You know when it's time
