I have an autistic brother who uses our family computer and he downloads all this c**p and he has no idea what he's doing on our computer. Is there a program or a setting that will not allow him to download things??? Like that he needs to enter a password. And one more thing, (this is random) if I buy 2GB of RAM for my 512MB computer, Will that make a difference???

  1. if you are using XP or windows 2000 you can make him a limited user where he would have to log into the system with his user name and password and limit what he can do. you can make it where he can only be on the computer for a certian time period and you can restrict him from installing anything on your computer and limit his access to the interntet on the parent control settings. You can have it where he can't download only play games or his music or home work

yes your computer will run faster and smoother and can help the cpu out on memory control. you can run more and or bigger memory programs hogs like photo shop nero. it will make a nice improvemet.

    1.tools

    2.internet options

    3.content

but if you have further questions ask google or ask another questions here on yahoo

  5. Hi heather,

Yes S/W is there... for parental control...

    try Kaspersky antivirus Sofware.

Better to go for  1GB RAM.... 2GB is required only for higner end applications since it requires more system resources.... :)
