  1. It's not a tradition for you to plan something, however, it would be very sweet of you to do so.

You could throw a surprise party, invite all their friends and family.  Maybe at a local hall or banquet room, or even their home if you want to save money.

Silver is the 25th anniversary color, so you could decorate with those colors.

Or you could arrange for them to renew their wedding vows.  I'm sure they would love that idea.  You could have a small ceremony at a special place you know they love, or has special meaning to them.

    Best wishes to you!

  2. u dont have to but u can get friends and family 2 help u with things

congratulations to ur parents hope it all goes well good luck

  3. Yes, there's usually a celebration, it's a big milestone!

You can go one of two ways - as the other answerer said, a party at home with family and close friends. The kids of my second oldest sister had a barbecue for all of us to celebrate, because the parents wanted to keep it casual.

The kids of my oldest sister, though, did a church blessing, then at the church hall, a dinner and dance for about 150 people!

  4. When my parents had their 25th anniversary four years ago, my two brothers and I organized a small party or "open house" for them.  It didn't really take a whole lot of work, and at the time, my twin brother and I were both 18 and my younger brother was 15.  We basically called all our family and all the neighbours about two weeks in advance to come over the day of the party, my brother ordered a cake at the grocery store (the cake had a photo of their wedding pic on it - it was really nice) and we surprised them by having all our friends and family drop by throughout the evening for some cake and coffee/tea (we weren't old enough to buy alcohol).  It turned out good, and since it was an open house with people dropping by rather than arriving at a specific time, our house was not too crowded.
