Ok, I am 11 years old and my parents 20th anniversary is coming up. I want to get them something thoughtful, last year my sister and I got them a $50 gift card to Marmalade and movie tickets. I want something different we are willing to go up to $60. I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas that I could get them. Their anniversary is on Wednesday so I don't have much time and it's hard to get places. Thanks for your time and effort!

  1. As a parent, we don't expect our children to "buy" us stuff for our birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc.

However, you do not want those special events to go unrecognized. Perhaps you two could write them a nice poem (and frame it) that tells them about how they were good parents and how their marriage is an inspiration to you.

You could clean the house and cook them a dinner.

You and your sister could take a picture together and you could get that blown up to a 5x7 and have one framed for each one of them.

Good luck!  You are so sweet for being so thoughtful!
