Parents: Are you done having kids or do you want more?

Question

How many kids do you currently have? Is that as many as you're going to have or do you see more in your future?

We have one.  My wife and I want at least one more.  Financially, it will be tough, but we're in our thirties now, and I'd hate to wait too long, get too old, and miss the opportunity

I have eight kids. I'm done having any, adopting or naturally reproducing. However, I may foster more kids in the future when some space clears up (like maybe in 10 years or so.)

We have 1 and thats all we are going to have. I had a very problematic pregnancy and we were advised to strongly think about being done. I'm perfect with just 1, I got the boy I wanted.

I have a 9 month old.  I want at least another baby down the road.  Financially, we will have to wait until this one is out of daycare and in school.  It sucks to have to wait just because of daycare.

i have 2 boys, and would love to have 1-2 more.  i guess it depends on if my next one is a girl... i might decide to stop there.

I have 4 kids (14, 10, 7, 5) and I am DONE, I had a tubal ligation in March of 2003 and have never regretted it.

I have a one week old son.  I want two more.  Actually I would have more then that but the hubby says no.  Family is the best part of life so why not make it grow and have more people to love and enjoy life with!

We want three children. Our oldest daughter is 6 1/2 years old. Our second daughter is almost 2 1/2 years old. Our third child, a boy, is due on August 21.

I have three, two girls & one boy.

I have been done for years & I think three is the right number. For me any how.

Now it's the grandchildren. I have 4  granddaughters + 1 adopted grandson. My son is wanting that boy, so I think there will be at least 1 more grandchild in my future.

I have 4 kids and 12wks pregnant with #5. After this one is born, I'm officially DONE! (I said that last 2 pregnancies...). Tubes are being tied. We couldn't handle anymore after that ;)

We have three children and #4 is on the way! We also have an adult foster daughter we take of and have for the last 2 years. We are very blessed with our family. Probably will not be having anymore babies not till grandkids.

I definitely want more. Lola is 13 months old right now and I would love for her to have younger brother or sister. Probably not in the near future though.

We have five, ranging from 19 to 8.  We are all, now, surgically incapable of reproducing, and thank heavens for that!  I love kids, but there comes a time when you start looking forward to spoiling grandkids rather than raising any more of your own, and I guess we're there.

I have a 14m son and am due with twin boys anytime between now and the first week in Oct. I would love to have a little girl, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I'm sure 3 boys very close in age will be MORE THAN ENOUGH for me to handle lol.

I have a lot of respect for parents that have more than one child.  Shoot, I have a lot of respect for parents, period.  Parenting is hard work!

We have two and we thought that was all we wanted.  Lately, I have been wishing we wouldn't have been so hasty about vasectomy.  So, I guess we are done.

We currently have 2 (boys, 2 & 4) - and we are done.

I would like to have my little girl, but since we can't guaranty what we'd get next, we're not going to try. At this time, we also can't afford to raise more than the 2 we have. If you get to the point where we can afford more, then we can afford to adopt and give a child a loving home.

I have a 13yr step daughter and a 2 1/2 month old son. I wanted 2 prior to have my son, but after going through the colic stage with him...I think he scared my husband and I out of that idea!

Good question…I’m still unsure though.

I currently have a 21 month old boy and a 5 yr old stepdaughter that comes to us for summer visitations as well as other holidays and school breaks.

I have wanted a little girl since I was a kid. I ended up with a boy which I friggen LOVE! (Who woulda thought!) But I still would love to have a little girl some time in this life….

However, the thing holding me back is MONEY! I know you can never plan enough financially when it comes to children. But if you can barely afford the ones you have now, you shouldn’t be having more, and well, that’s the group I’m currently in.

I won’t be having children for at LEAST 5 yrs, as that’s how long my IUD will last : )

I have two kids:  a 3 1/2 year old girl and a 3 1/2 month old boy.  My husband and I haven't ruled out having a third yet but we are feeling really content and think we might be done.

their are seven child or more in my life,as i look at this world and the wrong thing that going  on yes, i would like to get more childern and teach them right thing to do in this world ,and when god tell me to come on home i know part or me will be with them.

I have a 4m old son and hopefully he's the first of a few. I would like a big family and love being a mom. My husband is currently on a tour in Iraq and will be home around Thanksgiving. He hasn't really had a chance to be a dad yet and take care of our son, so we have to see how he feels about being a parent and go from there.

I have a 5.5yr son and am 15wks pregnant with #2. I would love a 3rd sometime in the future, but I don't know if we will.
