Parents Beating their children to death?

What do you think of the Abusive parents or nannies? I just watched youtube videos and I just can't believe there's so many child abuse Stories.

What do you think Authorities should really do? Is 15 yrs of jail enough to a child murderer?

there's this so called Dad who put his 2 mo. old baby girl in the refrigerator then the microwave!!!! Awful 3 degree burns!

You're talking about psychologically dysfunctional people.  Your standards of behavior and mine don't apply.  It's not like a normal healthy adult just decided one day to murder or torture his or her own child.  Whatever punishment is meted out will do nothing to undo the damage to the child or in anyway discourage the next dysfunctional person from doing the same thing since they never think they're doing anything wrong.  The only thing punishment does in these cases is make the rest of us feel superior and powerful.  Unfortunate, but that's life.

Why would you willingly watch videos of children being abused?!?!?!  

Seriously!!  Unless you are doing some kind of college/uni course to work with children who have been/are being abused!

The media bombards us with these images and all can do is cry and ask God "Why"? Just today I read about a mother who cooked her 1 mo old in the micro because she didn't want her bf to find out she wasn't his. She is up for death penalty, and I think that is just desserts for people who prey on the defenseless. I breaks my heart and when i hold my little one I can't believe that someone would hurt him.

It is definitely a sign of the times, nothing is sacred. Everything is disposable, our plates, our razors, our friends, our marriages, our pregnancies, our children.

That's why I even disagree with spanking.  Where do you draw the line?  I suppose their are plenty of parents out there that use spanking for discipline and never let it go any farther.  Unfortunately there are obviously plenty that cross that line.  How can someone inflict intentional pain on an innocent child?  I don't know, I just protect my own and try not to think about it.

Yeah 15 yrs is not enough.  I think a life time in prison is more just.
