Parents: Do you have a favorite child?

Well when it comes to cuddles it is my little Catherine.  Nick is  my buttons guy(computer and other button things).  And Chris is my ball man.  So I have favorites when it comes to certain things because like all people kids are better at certain things too.  So it all depends on what we are doing and how the kids react to it.

no i think that's wrong to have a favorite. i know what its like to have it done to me. my brother was the favorite. i love both of my kids the same and i always will

I HAVE 3 ADULT KIDS I LOVE THEM ALL THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND SPEND TIME WITH ALL love to be a mom

When one was driving me crazy, the other was my favorite child of the moment. Other than that, nope.

All mine are special in their own way and I love different qualities about each of them. At times, yes, I can admit, I have 'favorites.' But that kid usually pisses me off and I like a different kids better. It's mostly when they fight and get on the nerves that I have a 'favorite.' LOL. It's not exactly right to have a favorite, but everyone does from time to time no matter if they admit or not. LOL. :)

Yes, I do, but I only have one.  :)  I plan on having another baby sometime and both will be my favorites.  It isn't right to have a favorite child.

I like mine for different reasons. But I had a hard time when my son was first born. I had such a standing relationship with my daughter that I was terrified I would never build that great of a bond with my son.  Now, only four months later, I can't believe I thought that.  I love them for who they are and I am sure that there will be times in the future when I truely like one more than the other (because of stages). But I bet it even's out over the long haul.

No, I honestly do not have a favorite child. I love both of my children exactly the same. I just think its a different bond. With my son, his father left us when I was pregnant with him and I was a single mother to him and 2 foster children...so he was my support without him even knowing it....because of him, I went back to work and school and worked hard to make sure he had the life he was supposed to have and his dad took that from us...I was a single mother for 1 yr and then husband and I reconciled...my daughter came after that, and the love I have for her....its like she is my princess...no one can hurt her and she is so precious.......with her I went through a depression because I felt a resentment that my husband was around for her and did everything for her and not my son....and I also had issues with the death of my mother and missed out on mother/daughter bonding...so with her...its like I want that bond that I could not have with my own mother cause she was murdered when I was 4....but I love both of my children with my whole life and every morning I wake up...is for them...not sure if that makes sense :)

I love both of my kids equally most of the time but there are times of the day when the child who is behaving the best becomes my favorite.
