I will be calling her Pedi tomorrow, but just to make me a little more knoweldgable.

I started my daughter on regular milk about a month and a half ago. This is my second child. She never had this during formula. She has also started taking beta blockers (propranolol) but that was like four months ago. Anyway for the past month or so, her "poo" has been like white. Some days normal, but most days it is whitish. Any one else run into this? I have no idea-food? med's?

  1. My daughter has gastointestinal problems and her doctor told me the 2 colors they look for is red and white. You need to get your baby to the doctor tomorrow to be sure. It should never be white. That is a sign of trouble.

White p**p means that the bile from the liver is not entering your gut. Or something.

  2. I would get her to the doctor as soon as possible. When my daughter was an infant her pedi told me to watch for white stools because that can mean liver problems. I would take her to the doctor just to be sure...white is not a normal color for diarrhea.

  3. My son had white p**p and now hes two and still does sometimes depending on if he wants to be a picky eater sometimes !

Try geting her to eat more food then her milk intake for a couple of days and see if it changes . Does it seem she has any other discomfort then from a rash ? If so i would go to my doctor or call your family doctor and sometimes they will give you an answer without you having to o in .

  4. no but maybe she is lactose intolerant

  5. take her to the doc

my little brother had white p**p and he has to take medicine everyday for it. so it should be treatable
