FOR THE PARENTS: Ok the doorbell rings you get it there is no one there and you look down and you see a big bouquet of flowers and they say for your daughter. with a poem. she is 13-14

FOR THE GIRLS: same thing you read the poem and it read:

YOUR AS BEAUTIFUL AS THOU ART

THE REASON I SAY THIS IS BECAUSE YOU STOLE MY HEART

it said to (girl's name) from: secret admirer

Depends.  You definitely need to intervene and make sure this is not from an adult or even an 17-20 year old.  If it is from someone within her age range then you need to make sure his parent and you are involved (if your daughter has an interests in him).  Dating around this age should be about socializing and not anything serious.  Also, it is time to have that "talk" you know the bird, the bees, kissing 101 and hands off 503.  Do not get into a shouting match - make sure you communicate and leave the door open to talk about anything and everything.  I know it will be hard because this is about your little girl.  Good luck!

It's sweet. Some kid probably saved up his allowance to buy that for her and it means the world to him. Just encourage her to be nice if the kid approaches her, but that she doesn't owe him anything because of the gift. She should just consider it a sweet gesture and feel good about it. If she likes the boy, then they could go on supervised outings.
