  1. Hmmm.  My 11 month old always had her own breakfast and certainly didn't eat off my plate.

I eat different than them.  I usually have my own cereal that I like, with fruit on it.  The kids are usually waffles every morning (boring, I know). On weekends, I have more time, so we'll all eat omelets or eggs and toast.

  2. I usually eat what she's having because if I don't, she automatically wants what I have instead of her own food.

  3. Most of the time, yes I do have the same thing as my child. It's just simpler for me to fix one thing instead of a couple of different things.

  4. I think breakfast is really important so I always have a good breakfast for me and my daughter we always eat the same thing because if I don't have the same thing as her she won't eat her food she will want mine. we usually have scrambled eggs with toast or oatmeal with fruit some orange juice and coffee for me.

  5. During the school year, I make one breakfast and we all eat that. During the summer, I make each person what they want (as long as it's healthy and a balanced meal). The little kids often get a choice of this or this to eat.

  6. I usually eat what my children eat and some times if I am not in the mood I will treat myself to something different but majority of the time I eat what they eat :)

  7. I always ask my son what he wants foe breakfast and most times he says an omelet and I don't care for them so I eat a bagel and cream cheese

  8. I don't! I have coffee; they have cereal or my husband makes them pancakes cut in shapes on Sundays. A little tradition :-) But most days it's cold cereal for them and coffee for me.

  9. Generally the same.  My youngest are preschooler twins and one has always had issues eating (doesn't want to), so I hope that eating the same things encourages him/them to eat too.

  10. I don't. Usually, I'm lucky if i get time to eat breakfast in the first place.

  11. I offer my children the same thing I'm eating.  That way, we're all offered a balanced meal and I'm modeling healthy eating.  I can't expect them to eat something if I'm not going to!

    -Edit-

Obvious exeptions for children/people in special diets due to diabetes, being sick, not having teeth . . .

  12. My breakfast is coffee (lots of it) and cigarettes (outside), so no, I do not have the same breakfast as my kids.

  13. It depends if I'm in the mood for what I'm giving my daughter. Usually we'll have the same thing because she's only 11 months and eats off of my plate. But if I'm just in the mood for a bowl of my own cereal or something, then we eat different things.
