I was watching a movie yesterday (something about zombies and Halloween and this kid that got stuck in a one of those clay heating things and died) and I was really confused. There was a single dad and his son and a single mom and her daughter. The teens started to date and by the end of the movie, so were the two parents and they tried to pretend it was a happy ending? Wouldn't they be brother and sister if the parents got married? It just seems all wrong to me.

  1. They'd be step-brother and step-sister and as they were dating before their parents married, it really wouldn't change anything.

  2. Yeah I totally know what you mean! I always think about that. It baffles me to this day how awkward that would be. Or exes and your parents started dating/got married. I actually love to think about the most awkward step-sibling situations you could find yourself in...enemies, most popular girl in school is now your sister, hottest upperclassmen boy is now your brother...SO WEIRD!

  3. No, it doesn't make you brother and sister, you just live together and the parents would have to lay down the law or put your on birth control to keep you two from having regular s*x and living like a married couple.

  4. LOL I have always wondered that with movies that end like that! It is kind of creepy to me!

  5. The dating teens are not biologically related, so they are technically not brother and sister.

There's absolutely nothing legally or morally "wrong" with these two dating or even getting married.

  6. Hey JJ, I think it is to! If that was me I would not feel right! I could never look at my step brother ever again! that is jus gross!!
