I'm 14 and me and my boyfriend have been seeing each other for just over a month and we had been really good friends for several months before. Last night my bf came round (this wasn't the first time) and we were in my room, my mum came in a few times asking if we wanted drinks etc. then this morning she said that she didn't like the way we were lying on the bed together and that she thought things were moving too fast. I am not interested in going any further than kissing at the moment but my mum is still worried.

We argued over it, and I know my mum is very worried about what we might be doing while alone. By arguing I feel I have lost some of her trust. What can I do to convince her that, other things aren't happening and regain my trust???

Any advice and opinions are areciated Thank you.

  1. You could sit down with her and tell her what you have just told us,,, by reading that i have trust for you so your mum should try to listen and you should come to some rules where you are both happy.

  2. Firstly I would apologise for arguing with her, then tell her you do understand her worries and fears but also explain you are well aware of the risks you would be taking if you and him took things further and that you are not prepared to take those risks so she doesnt have to worry.

Her hearing that you are aware of risks etc will put her mind more ease and she will see you are mature enough not to be so silly at such a young age.

    good luck x

  3. im not sure multipul posting is allowed lol

  4. defo let her knw that she can trust u

  5. tell her what you have just said and she might believe you btw its probably your bf she doesnt trust not you

  6. Let her known that she can trust you. Tell her you're not even ready to go forward to the next level with your boyfriend.
