Parents of Teens your opinion.?

Question

Do you ever really trust or like your teen's boyfriend or girlfriend?

I've seen parents who seem closer to the boyfriend/girlfriend more then there own kids. Like they've gotten married and claimed them as your own. Then theres the "because you like them I'll deal with them..for now" parents.

So have you ever genuinely liked your teens boyfriend or girlfriends? Explain if you would.

My kids aren't dating yet, but I'd like to think that I have raised them well enough to chose a bf/gf wisely. That being said, so long as my child is happy and they are being treated with love and respect, I'll be a happy  mom.

Of course! You have to trust and like them. Accept that your teen can and will make good judgments in people. Many of my kids friends call me "mom".
