Parents of preschoolers......Do you think a basketball themed party (w/time on the court) is too much?

My 3 (soon to be 4 year old) said he wants a basketball party and I know he's very good in sports but I'm wondering if the other children at the party will actually enjoy it (they'd be ranging in ages from 3-5)

I am a preschool teacher and a sports theme party is a great idea. When we have sports week in the spring, it is a huge hit!
