Parents want me to choose between a Macbook and a new room?

I have had the same room and furniture forever(i have only lived in one house), my bed is a twin and my mattress isn't comfortable..it squeaks whenever i move. I am also in need of a GOOD laptop, to bring on trips and stuff for school, and all the things they're great for. I can't choose between all new big beautiful PBteen furniture, or a Macbook with a camera and everything!!!

I would say get the room if the macbook is the only other option.  A GOOD laptop is a Dell or any other PC.  A mac is a paperweight...
