Parents. what do you pay your babysitter? what state do you live in?

i was just wondering what people in different areas of the country are paying their babysitters. thank you!

Consider your budget, and look for someone you really trust.  If you have that, begin pay at $10/hour for one child under 5.  If your child is older, $9 to $12 per hour is reasonable, depending on the child's behavior.  Go higher if your child is difficult so that you can get some consistent, if possible.

If you have more than one child, add $3 per hour for each extra.  You want someone who is happy for the job and takes great care.

In PA for 3 kids: $10/hour for an adult sitter...about $7/hour for a teen.

I get 3-5 (depends on how wild the kid is] for one kid

I get 6-8 (Depends on how wild the kid is) for two kids.

I get 9-12 [Depends on how wild the kid is] for three kids.

I got 13-17 [depending on how wild the kid is] for four kids.

I have never baby sat more that 4 kids at a time.
