Parents what would you choose ...???????

You and you're child/children were getting shot at ...would you rather..

You get shot and you're child having to live through that pain of seeing you die for the rest of there lives OR

You're child dying and you living through the pain ??

  3. MOST definitely I would take that shot. The parent is still the protector. Instinct is natural.There will be a full life and many happy days for the child.I do not feel a parent should have to bury their child, in a choice situation.

  6. I would take a bullet any day for my daughter. I would die for her, no question about that! sure, it would be horrible for her to live through and the aftermath would affect her, I'm sure. but she would live to see the rest of her life, which is why I brought her into the world to begin with. I think the day you have children, you have to be willing to do anything for them, even if it's sacrificing your own life.  

  7. I would take the shot. A child can go on and live his/her life with the pain. But that pain could heal later on in life. I couldn't not let my child die and live with that guilt...it's if like i had killed him. I would not be able to live my life with out my child. By the tim you have a child you have had lived your life and gone through enough to be able to go and a child has not had the chance to be who they want to be and live there life's..so by far i would take the shot.

I hope that I am never faced with this situation but if I was I would ABSOLUTELY rather me being shot than my child.  No question, ifs or buts about it.  My kids come first!  By the way, if one of my children were to die I would never be able to live though the pain.  The pain would be with me always.  The only reason I would be able to pick myself up from that floor and live with the pain is because I would have to be strong for my other children.  I would be there for them and continue to be the best mom I can for them but I would always have that pain of losing my baby with me.  I would never get over losing my child, NEVER.  I would just learn to live with the pain while cherishing the memories.

  20. Being only 17, im too young to be a father, but i would most certainly say i would rather take the pain then to see my own children being hurt.

    that would be unbearable.

  26. any respectable parent is going to say themselves to die as their child has so much more of their life ahead of them, i think they would honour the memory of the parent who saved them. A parent would go through h**l wishing it was them and not the child, i know i would.
