  1. i wouldnt say later then 9 but i dont have kids

  2. the same time as their friends have to go home. Dont let them come home sooner neither later.

  3. What city exactly?

    11. Boys need their freedom in summer.

trust me, us guys know our limits.

Im 15 and i only learn from my mistakes.

and just because its an urban area doesnt mean they will get mugged or anything.

Ive been at my friends in the middle of atlanta at the most wee hours of the morning and no trouble was caused.

and depending on if they pay for food and such,

    10, 15, 20$ a week.

    hope i helped!

  4. well my mom did it like if its starting to get dark its time to come home wich means by 5 in fall and winter and by maybe 7 when its spring and summer you should give them 25 a week because thats enough to cover hanging out and if they want to go somewhere that costs more they have to ask you hope i helped

  5. Hey Kris,My boys are 18,16 and 14.We live in an urban area. The 14yr old if he is alone and on the block has to be home by 10.Anywhere else before dark.unless he is with his big bros. The 16 yr old,out alone near home 11. If he's with the 18 yr old he comes home at 12,no later. My two oldest boys were jumped on a Sunday afternoon walking to the store to get some hot chitos. Beaten with golf clubs,my oldest was rushed by ambulance and recieved 65 stitches in his head, thank god no brain damage, the 16 yr old did not get it as bad because my oldest stood in front of him to protect him but he still got a few hits to the head. So it is so hard to say when is a safe time, because things can happen at any time where we live. Inever want them walking the streets at night, never. My husband would pick them up. But if they go to a late movie with friends that i trust i wabble backand forth with the times i spoke of. And chores, they have garbage to,cleaning after the dog, cutting the grass and they get about 10-20 bucks a weekend, IF we can afford it. some weekends they get nothing because they know our financial situation,My 18 yr old will give his brothers money,he works. My oldest child is a girl and she is 20. In her 3rd year of college and has a part time job. Use your discression on who they are with, where they are going and how far away from home they will be. Same with the money, you have what you have and they need to understand hard times or bill times. Good luck!!!

  6. Don't let them out if its late. Just make sure there home by 8 o'clock.

  7. 10:00, 10:30. I am basing this on my friends.  I would make them home by 9:30 but can stay outside till the first two times.  For the chores, my mom pays me like 10$ a week

  8. hi

  9. Maybe 10? Well I'm not quite sure....

  10. probably before it gets dark 9 : 930, if they are close by then i guess maybe 10

and you really don't have to pay them for doing what they are supposed to do though i guess     $15 dollars would be good

  11. My sons have to come home before dark unless it is a special occasion. My sons are 13 & 17. You have to set a time that you are comfortable with. Give them a little freedom to learn to live, but not enough to get into trouble. I found that if I explain to my boys the reason for the rule, then they are more apt to follow it. I tell my boys that following rules will make them responsible men.  As far as allowance, that should be based on your income. You don't want to make it too easy by giving them a large allowance. That way they can learn the value of hard work and also learn to manage their money. I have a set price for each chore. The price is determined by the difficulty of the chore, starting at $1 for the easy ones and $5 for the more challenging. The more they do, the more they get paid.
