Parents won't let me go on school bus with crutches?

Question

I dislocated my kneecap 1 month ago. I'm currently on crutches. School started 3 days ago and my parents want to drive me 2 and from (we live like 5 minutes away from school) But i want 2 take the bus. I have no problem getting on the bus with my crutches (went on airport bus just fine) and I don't have a problem getting off. I wanna go on the bus so that I can see all my friends, since I can't see them any other time.

How do I pursuade my parents 2 let me ride the bus?

Tell them that you handled the bus at the airport fine, what's so different about this one? Tell them you'll be fine.

I was in a full leg cast and on crutches and  had an appointment downtown.  I drove to the rapid transit and boarded the train. If I were to sit either in a forward facing seat or along the side facing center, my cast was extended in the aisle.  More than my fear of someone tripping over this monster and causing further injury, was my fear of the other person being injured.  My leg was fairly well protected within my cast.  You might want to consider this.  But good luck in your recovery.

Sorry about your injury. I assume that your leg is casted or in a brace that keeps your knee straight and your leg might have to be in the aisle of the bus as you are seated.  Someone could trip over your leg and cause further injury to you. As a crutch user I understand how you are able to handle challenges, but you have to look at the situation from all sides.  Hope this helps, and good luck with your recovery.

hmm tell them yourll eb fine explain why you wnat to go on teh bus tell them if you really wnat to c me happy let em go on bus and tehy really care about you drivign you there so ye try to ake em more sad for you and then say im not going if you dont let me go on bus and just keep moaning and moaning

but i still dont c why you wouldnt want a drive thier instead of the kids staring at your ctutches its better a dive then the bus
