If my child was 16 and older I would leave that up to them. Because he/she is responsible enough to make his/her own decision!

My daughter knows she can't get anything put her ears pierced. If I see anything else I will ripe it out. I'm NOT joking and they know it.

I wouldn't really get mad but I would be disappointed.  Those things can cause infections, and are not that attractive.

I had many peircings when I was younger. I would not be mad per say, just disapointed. I would not encourage it, nor would I sign for it. Its his/her body.

You shouldn't be able to get your lip pierced without a notarized signature of a parent.

If you did somehow get it done, yes...your parents should be upset with you for going behind their backs.

If I was your mother I would rip it right out of your face if you did it without my knowledge. If you asked me first, I'd sign the paper.

You can remove a piercing.......better than a tattoo (my partner has tattoos, I am not against them) which they will have for life and probably regret later on if an impulse buy, lol

that just really depends on the parents and how uptight they are! u cant generalize! i know for a fact that my mom and dad never approved of my bellypiercing, but when i actually got it they didnt say anything! ........so it really just depends on what they think is wrong or right!

well my husband had his done so it would be hard to say. but he was over 18. he hasnt had it in for a long time joined the army after getting it done then had to take it out. never got it redone i dont think he will. just a phase i guess. but yes i would be upset but he got it done. i would let them wear and in years they will see how dumb it was.

why would you want to get one....and when you have to go out and get a job....you'll have to take it out anyway, why waste your money on getting it done....and if your 18 and under....most places won't let you get it done without their consent!!!
