  1. no.

i dont like you, you were very rude in one of your other answers.

  2. Probably, because you have better qualifications than a lot of older babysitters, but I would want to get to know you better before hiring you.

If you're having a hard time finding babysitting jobs, you might consider printing up a brief "babysitting resume" with the information about your red cross training class, the camp nurseries you worked at, and references from anyone you've babysat for before. That would look very professional and mature. Also, you could volunteer to go spend a couple of hours with the kids you want to babysit while one of the parents is home so they could see how you interact with the kids. And if you know how to handle emergencies, you could also give the parents examples of what you would do if a certain situation came up so they know that you really do know what to do.

Those things might help you convince parents who might otherwise think you are too young to babysit their kids. Good luck!

  3. Probably not...I started babysitting when I was 12 or 13, and I did fine - BUT looking back I think it was too young. Now that I am a parent myself (to an 18 month old and one more due within the next month), I can't imagine leaving my babies with a 13 year old. That sounds weird considering I admit I babysat that young AND did fine...but I think I would just prefer somebody older to babysit my own kids.

I could make exceptions, I suppose, if I had a young relative or friend's child who I knew well, and would only be babysitting for a short amount of time.

  4. Yes and I wish I could find one that motivated..your very lucky to have her.

  5. YES!!!!!!!!!! I am 13 years old as well. And I babysit my barely one year old cousin all the time. I know more about babysitting than some adults. 13 is NOT too young!

  6. i would do a mommy's helper for a while to know how good someone where first and based on that i would choose.

  7. Why dont you let her look after your kid while you are there and see if shes ok with him/her or let her look after him/her for half hour or somthing and then increse it after time and see how she gets on. and if you thinks shes ok then let her if you dont then just stop her looking after him/her.

  8. No, probably not; but you didn't say how old the kid was and for how long or where.

  9. Depends more on the girl- at 13 years old girls have many different levels of maturity.

It also depends on the ages of your children, the level of care that they require - and whether you trust her in your home.

Its a decision only you as a parent can make - I dont think I'd do it - but my children are 5 and 1.  Then again I only have family or close friends to babysit any way and they are 18+.

  10. No, 13 is too young in my opinion.

  11. I guess it depends on if I already knew you somehow as a friend of the family then I might if I felt you were responsible. My twin boys are 13 (almost 14) and I allow them to babysit my 8 yr old for short periods like less than an hour though.
