  1. Yes, we visited them all in one day.  We did use the Metro though, otherwise it would have been a very long walk.

  2. The Moulin Rouge is a long, long walk from the Arc de Triomphe , best go by metro [subway] . The Moulin Rouge is not much to look at from the outside, hardly worth the effort, unless you want to go to a show, in which case see if you can get tickets at a ticket agency rather than risk just turning up at the door, especially in the tourist season.

The distance to the Eiffel Tower is more walkable, quite an agreeable walk too. It  certainly won't take a whole day.  Get a street plan of Paris before you go to get an idea of the layout of the City.

  3. When we went we took a tour of the city and saw all the sights in one day.  They(the tour companies) stop at all the stops and have special parking permits.  We did that the first afternoon /evening we were there that way we knew what we wanted to go back and see the next day.  Paris is laid out beautifully and it is an easy city to navigate yourself around but it is big.  The metro is wonderful and fast.  It is suppose to be easy but I have a hard time understanding those things and a lovely french gentleman stopped right in his tracks and came over and helped us get to where we wanted to go.  I have often heard that generally the french are rude but every one was really nice, went out of their way to help me and my friend.  They also spoke perfect English which was good since all I speak is a little bad french.

  4. Its rather a long walk from the eiffel Tower to the Moulin rouge (about 6 km) but I suppose you could do it fairly easily. However, there really isn't much point as the walking route would be largely uninteresting.

The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe are less than 3 km from each other and a very easy and pleasant walk thru a very nice part of the city.

  5. No, the Eiffel Tower and Moulin Rouge are considerably far apart. Too far to walk. Well, you could walk it but it would take you a very long time. The Moulin Rouge is in Monmartre and quite a ways away. It's up north of Paris...easily accessible from the Metro (as long as it's not on strike like when we were there). But probably 10 miles from the Tower....alot of it uphill.

I suggest you buy a multi-day pass on the open-top buses. They take you all over the city, are very inexpensive and you can see and hear the city while traveling through it. You can experience the traffic (yuk) without having to drive in it.

You can easily walk from the Eiffel Tower to the Arc de Triumphe... but it is about 20-25 blocks.

Take the subway or the bus.... save your energy for walking to the top of the Arc (what a view) or  Notre Dame Cathedral.

    Enjoy!
