It has been many, many years ago taht I went thru there--but I remember it to be rural---but places grow and change--so it is hard telling by me now!  Sorry

haha.. i actually live there so i can tell you its rural. There is nothing here at all. Its boring as h**l. Everything here sucks. The only good thing is that its easy to get a job, and its cheap. But the crime rate of its county (lamar county) is the fifth highest in texas. (mainly b/c of all the drugs that are sold here). So if your looking for somewhere cheap to live, then this is the place. Just dont expect to have to much fun.
