  1. myself and husband stayed in the Latin Quarter and hotel (don't remember name) was very good - then again all of Paris is romantic! (except Bastille as too lively for me as is student quarter)Montmartre might be ideal to look at. Beautiful artist square with many cafes and restaurants. Moulin rouge not far from here - take in a show. Have a fantastic time in such a wonderful city.

  2. nice selection

  3. les page jaunes (the yellow pages)

  4. The Hotel Left Bank Saint Germain at 9, rue de l'Ancienne Comédie in the 6th arr. is just what you are looking for.

A description with pictures can be found here: http://www.france-hotel-guide.com/h75006...

This is an excellent location and within easy walking distance of both Notre Dame and the Louvre.

If you stay there then I suggest dinner next door at Le Procope, the oldest restaurant in Paris. Here is their website: http://www.blanc.net/procope/en/index.ht...

If that hotel is too expensive then consider the Hotel St. Andre des Artes at 66 rue St. Andre des Artes (this is right around the corner from the first hotel). This is where I usually stay when I'm in Paris. Its more funky than romantic but its a very friendly place and quite cheap. A double with breakfast is 86 euros a night. if you choose this place then you must email for a reservation (they are VERY popular) : hsaintand@wanadoo.fr

  5. You're boyfriend could find a good position in the Paris Hilton.

  6. good afordable places are hard to find, but try this site

    http://www.ruenobel.com/

  7. Try Hotel Duc du Saint Simon, in the 7th, near Saint-Germain-de-Pres.  Good location, good restaurant, good rooms.  I think many would consider it romantic.  It's not cheap, though; I haven't been there for a while but I think you would pay 250+ Euros.  Their home page is  listed below.

Paris is a great city to visit, I hope you make it over there.

  8. depends on your budget, i stay in a hotel called IBIS in BASTILLE which costs 80 euros a night (which is cheap for paris) and it is a good place to go out etc. its one of those hotels that looks the same wherever you go, whatever country you are in as it is a chain,

if youa re looking for soemthing very 'french' you must be willing to pay more (and there are often curfews etc)

  9. Check out www.tripadvisor.com for reviews on Parisian hotels. If you want to save money and live like a true Parisian, you may want to consider renting an apartment. www.parisbestlodge.com has great apartments available for this summer.

  10. if your in the centre of Pari they are all romantic

  11. We were in Paris in October and stayed at the Astor Saint Honore. It was beautiful, and had the perfect location. We couldn't have asked for anything better!!
