Paris Mariott?

We are going to Paris at the end of the month and are currently staying at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center. We looked it up on google maps and it appears to be quite a distance from central paris. Have you heard of/ stayed in this hotel. If so, how good would you consider its location to be???

The hotel is a little ways out from the center of Paris, but Paris is actually a very small city for a city of it's population and as long as you are near a Metro (subway) stop, you are within minutes of everything. Because of the Metro, location in Paris is not nearly as important as it is in other large cities. You could do better, but you could do a lot worse. Have fun.

While not in the very center of the city it is still in Paris proper and not a suburb. It is not a location I would choose but you could certainly make a worse choice.

If you demand a hotel that is in every respect exactly like one you would find in downtown Omaha the this is certainly the place for you.
