Paris Saint-Germain, AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Storari-c23751 – Serie A Transfer Rumour
French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain are keen on placing a bid for the second choice Juventus FC goalkeeper, Marco Storari. According to reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, the French outfit are keen on acquiring a top class goalkeeper after their first
team custodian called it quits on his career.
Gregory Coupet, the former French international, was the first choice glove-man at PSG. However, the keeper said goodbye to football last month at the age of 38. The new arrival at the outfit was former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Douchez-c27810, and
he is reckoned to be the new first team addition.
According to reports, PSG have tabled a 3 million Euros offer for Storari and are keen on having him onboard as the reserve glove-man. However, the Italian is in search of first team action and it seems unrealistic of the French outfit to offer such a position
to the 34-year-old goalkeeper.
Marco Storari is currently the reserve keeper at Juve. Since the first team custodian, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gianluigi-Buffon-c14833, is irreplaceable, Storari is only seen playing his part off the bench. Storari came to Juve last year and was lucky to find first team action when the
legendary Buffon suffered a severe back injury that kept him on the sidelines for most part of the first half of the 2010/11 season. However, on his arrival, Storari was demoted to the bench again in spite of his impressive outings in Buffon’s stead.
It was reckoned that the 34-year-old Italian would make his way out of Turin in order to find more first team action. Storari is not without admirers as fellow Serie A outfits such as Genoa CFC and AS Roma have been targeting the goalkeeper.
However, the player’s agent negated such reports and while talking about the Roma rumour, said:
“It seems to be a bit far out there to even talk about. Storari to Roma seems to be the joke of the moment.”
