Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid battle out for signature of highly-rated Swiss youngster-Ligue 1 news

Under contract at Zurich until 2015, it has been reported that a fee in the region of four million Euros might be enough to land the gifted teenager. Though it remains to be seen whether a move for the youngster will materialise or not, PSG have definitely
identified a good player who can serve the club for years to come.
However, Real Madrid might not let PSG have the youngster’s signature that easily. Jose Mourinho, manager of the Spanish giants has been impressed by what he has seen in Rodriguez and is keen on landing the player.

Since making his debut for Zurich in 2009, Rodriguez has made 19 appearances for the club and has scored one goal. A move to a new European club could help the youngster develop further. A move to PSG would be a much better option as the youngster will have
a good chance of playing regularly, something he will never be guaranteed of at Real Madrid.
