Following their failure to sign Alexandre Pato from AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain have now turned their attention towards Manchester City rebel http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez and are keeping Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain in the frame as well
Paris Saint-Germain have so far been unable to land a star striker this January. Coach, Carlo Ancelotti is fully aware of the club’s need to find a good striker who can pair up with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721.
After been linked with moves for AC Milan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901 and Internacional’s Leandro Damiao, PSG have now turned their attentions towards Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine international has been frozen out of the City squad by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. Initially, sporting director Leonardo pulled out of making a move for Tevez as he did not want to become a hurdle
for his old club AC Milan.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 tried desperately to bring Alexandre Pato to the Parc des Princes but a move could not materialise as Milan owner, Silvio Berlusconi did not want to let go of the young Brazilian. The Italian owner is apparently not totally enthusiastic about the
prospect of signing Tevez and also sees Pato as the club’s next big star.
Inter Milan are also keen on signing the AWOL Argentine but their attempts to bring the striker to the San Siro could prove in vain with reports linking of PSG’s interest in the striker.
City want 37 million Euros for the striker – a price that both Inter Milan and AC Milan are unwilling to pay and it seems that PSG could also choose to look elsewhere if City don’t soften their stance. Furthermore, the Argentine is apparently not looking
forward to making a move to Ligue 1.
Leonardo is keen on bringing Tevez to the club but has also devised a plan B in case the club is yet again rebuffed.
Real Madrid striker is part of Leonardo’s plan B. The Argentine striker is reportedly unhappy at Real Madrid and may welcome a move to PSG. This season, the 24-year-old is a second-choice striker despite scoring 14 goals in 17 La Liga games for Real Madrid.
