Regretting the elimination from Coupe de la Ligue, Sakho said that the players are disappointed after the loss but added that there is nothing we can do to reverse the result. PSG worked really hard on the pitch and sometime such results happen in football,
and the need is to move on.
“Well that's football. We already regret this elimination, but we really gave it everything."
Meanwhile, Blaise Matuidi has echoed his teammate’s sentiments and feels that Paris Saint-Germain should have won the match and they deserved to be in the semi-finals of Coupe de la Ligue.
"We are disappointed because we deserved to qualify for the semi-finals. I think we played well overall, a solid match.”
The Frenchman added that Les Parisiens need to move on and shift their focus towards Ligue 1 and win their upcoming games.
“However, now we need to refocus on our number one objective that is the championship."
