Paris Saint-Germain proved that Saturday’s loss against AS Saint-Etienne in the league was nothing but a mere bump on their road to success with a comfortable win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League this Tuesday.
Les Parisiens once again showed the world why they are a formidable force in Europe this season, and Tuesday’s win has put them on course to qualify for the next round of the European club competition. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 provided all four assists for PSG’s
goals and captain, Christophe Jallet, is more than pleased with his team’s performance.
While talking to reporters, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international stated that it was an impressive performance from the Ile giants and they deserved to get all three points at Parc des Princes. The 29-year-old feels that Paris Saint-Germain were more impressive in the
second half and they gave no chance to Dinamo Zagreb to find a way back in the game.
"Our second half performance meant the victory was a little more comfortable and we exploited the space better to make the difference.”
Jallet added that PSG needed to win this game to get their campaign back on track especially after the defeat at the hands of Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1. The Frenchman said that the win has enhanced Les Parisiens’ chances of qualifying for the next round of
the competition which is the most important thing for the club.
“It was a good win that sees us get straight back on track after the loss last weekend to Saint-Etienne. It was a great performance and we are on the right track for qualifying and that's the most important thing."
Jallet’s teammate, Salvatore Sirigu, has echoed his captain’s sentiments and has praised Paris Saint-Germain’s performance against the Croatian champions on Tuesday.
"This match was important one because we wanted to show that Saturday's loss was just an accident. We have a very good chance of qualifying for the last 16 so we can be proud of what we've achieved."
