Determined to keep on increasing their depth, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have now entered the race to sign Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison along with Barcelona and Manchester City who have been monitoring the youngster’s progress in recent weeks.
With the new funding, Paris Saint-Germain have naturally become one of the most active clubs in the transfer window. However, it now seems that the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as the new manager of PSG has added a new direction to the club’s transfer ambitions.
Unknown targets are now appearing in PSG’s wish-list like the case of Nigerian youngster Ighalo.
According to Skysports, PSG are now keeping tabs on another youngster in the shape of Ravel Morrison. The 18-year-old midfielder is currently under contract at reigning English Premier League champions Manchester United.

The youngster is set to become a free agent this June but could be offered a new contract by Manchester United. However, it seems that the youngster is attracting a lot of interest from other European giants.

Paris Saint-Germain have now joined the race to sign the youngster as Ancelotti seeks to build a young side that would help PSG compete in Europe for years to come.
So far, Ravel Morrison has made only 2 appearances for United, coming in the Carling Cup. Manchester City appears to be keen on signing the young talent from local rivals.
However, a move to Manchester City, or for that matter any major European club, would certainly not be a wise decision on part of the youngster, as Morrison will not be guaranteed regular playing time in a side that is brimming with superstars at the moment.
For his part, Sir Alex Ferguson would be looking to hold on to the young talent who has already been touted for a great career by many pundits.
