The Parisiens assistant coach reveals that the club is looking to buy a number of different players to fuel their UEFA Champions League campaign, including the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 star.
Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant coach at Paris Saint-Germain, Giorgio Ciaschini, has confirmed that the French club is after the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073, and are expected to make a move for the player in the summer transfer window.
El Pocho has been strongly linked with a move away from the Partenopei side at the end of the ongoing season, amidst mounting interest from clubs all over Europe.
Giorgio Ciaschini revealed that PSG are looking to procure a lot of talent for different positions, but insisted that the French style of football is different than that of Italian or English game.
The assistant coach insisted that the French giants are looking to make their mark on the big European stage, and are looking at a lot of players to fill in different roles at the French outfit. He admitted that Ezequiel Lavezzi
is one of the major interests for the club.
While talking to Radio Crc, the Ancelotti aide said:
“PSG are looking for several different players. French football right now is not the same as Italian or English football. Going into the Champions League, Ancelotti is not looking for just one forward, but players in various roles
and Lavezzi is of interest to Paris Saint-German.”
Rumours also circulated recently that the Azzurri striker has cancelled the long-term rent agreement of his house in Naples, suggesting that the player is getting ready to take his flight away from the city that loves him like
a god.
Ciaschini went on to state that Lavezzi is adored by many clubs, but insisted that it remains to be seen if the Argentine is ready to part with the Azzurri. The assistant manager revealed that Les Parisiens have been keeping tabs
on Lavezzi for quite some time, and believes that the striker can prove to be a winner at PSG.
The Parisiens’ official insisted that players today are not just attracted to money, but want to join clubs which offer opportunities for growth.
Lavezzi has also been linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, but the French outfit is prepared to meet the buyout clause of €32m on the player’s contract with Napoli.
