The Spanish international’s prolific season has brought suitors at Mestalla with Paris Saint Germain leading the race to entice him away.
Valencia’s 2011/12 season has been marred by injuries to players at key phases of the season. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-Soldado-c31367 has lead the lines for the Mestalla-based outfit as they managed to qualify for UEFA Champions League for the 3rd successive season.
The Real Madrid academy graduate has had his most prolific season of his footballing career, hitting the back of the net 27 times in 51 appearances. His endearing displays for Los Che have alerted Paris Saint Germain.
The French outfit have an ambitious program underway at the Parc des Princes and with their Arab owners willing to back them in the transfer market have the financial muscle to entice Soldado to Paris.
When quizzed about the reported interest, Soldado did not shy away from the blossoming news and replied with a flirting response. The Spanish international admitted that he is enthused by the news coming from France, and will be looking forward to it.
However, he insisted that everything remains in the hands of Los Che and he will do whatever the club bids him.
"It's flattering that PSG are interested in me," Soldado said. "They hold significance on the European scene and have an interesting project.”

A summer of change is on the cards for Valencia. The club hierarchy announced that Unai Emery’s contract at the Mestalla will not be renewed and they have decided to part company with the former Real Sociedad man.
Despite securing a third place and UEFA Champions League qualification, as well as two semi-final appearances in the Copa del Rey and UEFA Europa League, Emery was let go of his position after failing to improve of Valencia’s inconsistent displays since
the turn of the year.
