French Ligue 1 big-spenders, Paris Saint-Germain, have ruled out a move for Benfica skipper, Luisao, following the high fee demands of the Portuguese giants for their coveted central defender.
The Parisians have been on a spending spree and haven’t backed away from making big money signings following their takeover by the Qatari Investment Authority.

The Brazilian International has been one of the most consistent and dependable central-defenders in the Portuguese Primeira Liga and with a €20 million price-tag, was considered a bargain buy.
Many clubs including Manchester City had been keeping the tabs on the highly-rated player but a move had not materialized until now. Luisao himself stated his desire to leave Estadio da Luz and said that younger players should be given a chance to come through
at the club.
"I have been at Benfica for eight years and there are times in which opportunities should be given to younger players," he told the press.
While he was open to the possibility of parting ways with the club, with whom he had been for 8 years, the Selecao International claimed that besides the occasional holiday, he would not be forced to stay with the Reds.
