Paris Saint-Germain keeping tabs on Liverpool FC player Joe Cole – Ligue 1 news
In a shocking turn of events, ambitious Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint-Germain are considering making a bid for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international Joe Cole who is currently under contract at English Premier League side Liverpool FC.
This summer, the transfer window has seen Paris Saint-Germain work in two different steps. In the first step, Les Parisiens signed players with French Ligue 1 experience like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Douchez-c27810 (from Stade Rennais) and Kevin
Gameiro (from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153).
In the second step, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 were signed from Palermo.
However, it seems that PSG are not yet finished with their business in the transfer window. A few days ago, the club was linked with a move for Manchester United striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254. The Bulgarian international has been linked with a move away from
Old Trafford for a long time and with PSG in need of a new striker, a move to Parc des Princes could be on the cards.
Reports now suggest that the capital club is now keen on bringing Liverpool midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. However, since joining the Kop, the former West Ham midfielder
has seen a rapid change in his luck.
The midfielder is no more in Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish’s plans for the upcoming Premier League season which means that PSG could take advantage of the Englishman’s situation and try bringing him to the Parc des Princes.
According to British newspaper, the Daily Sun, PSG are willing to pay Cole 103,500 Euros a week which means that Les Parisiens might have a great chance of signing a player who is attracting interest from Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 and Tottenham Hotspur as well.
A move to PSG could prove to be a good one for a player who has seen his career come to an abrupt halt since his release from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 a year ago. Though it still remains to be seen whether Cole will join PSG or not, a move to France’s capital could be a
major turning point in his career.
