Mega-rich PSG have joined several top Italian sides in the race for the signature of the highly-rated striker, who currently plays for Serie A side Sienna
According to Italian media, Les Parisiens are keeping a close eye on Mattia Destro and have inquired about the availability of the player.
The 21-year-old is co-owned by Seria A clubs Sienna and Genoa and is regarded by many as one of the best youngsters in Italy.
Destro enjoyed a successful campaign in Serie A last season making 30 appearances for his side. The striker was team’s top-scorer with 12 goals in 2011/2012 campaign, one ahead of his fellow striker Calaio.
String of excellent performances by the youngster have attracted interest from host of Europe’s top club. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, Roma and Juventus are all reported to be competing for the player’s signature.

Destro is under contract with his current club until 2015, but massive interest from several clubs suggests that the youngster will leave his club this summer.
While talking to Sky Italia, Sienna's sporting director Stefano Antonelli confirmed that several clubs are interested in the player and chances are high that the player will leave the club.
"It's not just http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, Inter Milan and Juventus who are monitoring Mattia Destro.”
Stefano Antonelli revealed that not only clubs in Italy are interested but many foreign clubs are also in the hunt for Destro, who has such a promising future.
Antonelli revealed that Les Parisiens have contacted Sienna for the signature of the player and are very much serious in their pursuit of the striker.
“Foreign clubs have also expressed interest in him. Paris Saint-Germain are interested and there are also other clubs abroad that are very keen on the player.”
Sienna rate Destro in high regards and would want a reasonable amount for the player. Antonelli claimed that club is in no hurry to sell the player and he will only be allowed to leave for a right price.
"He is an important player and for that reason, we need time to reflect and make the right evaluation.”
