UOL claims that Les Parisiens are now eying a move for 20-year-old midfielder Oscar who is rapidly becoming one of the hottest prospects of Brazilian football.
The 20-year-old youngster distinguished himself last season by scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists. His performances have not gone unnoticed in Europe with many clubs keeping tabs on a player who first emerged as a raw talent at Sao Paulo.
Since joining Internacional in 2010, Oscar has become a more refined player and has been touted for a brilliant future.
However, there is a legal dispute between Sao Paulo and Internacional for the player’s rights. Due to a tricky clause in his contract, Internacional are now unable to field the player since March 13 which means that the youngster is also keen on making a
move away from Brazilian football for good.
While Internacional are willing to pay 3 million Euros for recovering the player on a permanent basis, the announcement of PSG’s interest means that the player would consider arriving in Europe. Sao Paulo would also be interested in dropping their stance
especially if the Parisian club is willing to offer 15 million Euros for the talented midfielder’s signature.
