In their quest for a good defensive partner for Mamadou Sakho, Paris Saint-Germain are now keeping tabs on former LOSC Lille star Adil Rami who is currently under contract at La Liga side Valencia
Le Parisien claims that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 as well but could move to Parc des Princes where
he is guaranteed of a lucrative contract.
Currently, PSG defence contains the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Lugano with the latter failing to settle to the new environment since joining the Ile club from Fenerbahce.
Spanish sports daily Super Deporte now reveals that PSG are closely monitoring http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adil-Rami-c3639.
Rami is currently under contract at Spanish side Valencia whom he joined from Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille last summer. So far in his debut season with the Los Che, Rami has done admirably against some of the best strikers in Europe (including Cristiano
Ronaldo and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 of course).
Les Parisiens are now considering making a move for the 26-year-old centre-back this summer as many feel that the Frenchman could be the best partner for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293.
Furthermore, PSG are keen on signing France internationals as well. Already, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 have earned moves to Parc des Princes and it now seems that the club could make a bid for Rami when the summer transfer window re-opens.
However, Adil Rami only recently joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 which means that the Frenchman won’t come in cheap. Under contract at Valencia until June 2015, Rami’s release clause has been set at 25 million Euros.
Furthermore, after having tasted the lure of Spanish football, Rami might be reluctant in making a return to Ligue 1. His agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes has already said that PSG have a serious case of not being able to attract international stars which means
that luring the former Lille man could prove to be a tough task for the Ile giants despite their vast resources.
