While talking to the media regarding the player nationality model preferred by Carlo Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain, sporting director, Leonardo said that it would be better to have a French right-back in the squad.
The Ile giants are keen on signing a right-back this summer and have been keeping tabs on a host of full-backs in recent weeks. However so far, Les Parisiens have not been able to sign a right-back that suits the club.
A few days back, France international, Anthony Reveillere was hotly linked with a move to Parc des Princes. The move could have seen Serbian international Milan Bisevac move the other way. However, the player exchange deal broke down after the Lyon man failed
his medical with the capital club.
Despite this latest setback, Les Parisiens have not lost hope of signing a decent fullback and are still in the process of studying options available to them.
The first track leads to 21-year-old Sebastien Corchia who is currently under contract at FC Sochaux Montbéliard. However, Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that the player is not a PSG targets which is contrary to reports in French newspapers.
Two more players are also under the radar of PSG. The first player is Stade Brestois man http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Baysse and the other one is 26-year-old Romain Danze who is currently under contract at Breton side, Stade Rennais. However, despite Ancelotti’s preference for
French talent at the aforementioned position, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 has not ruled out the possibility of signing a foreign talent.
The Brazilian has hinted that if the club fails to sign a player within http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, there will be an option to look abroad.
“Otherwise, we look abroad. After all, we bought some players from abroad for less than what we would have given the Ligue 1 clubs.”
As a reminder to everyone, the likes of Gregory Van Der Wiel (Ajax Amsterdam), http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan) and Emmanuel Eboue (Galatasaray) are also available this summer so PSG could make a swoop for any of these experienced fullbacks including Real Madrid midfielder,
Lassana Diarra, who can also play very well as a right-back.
