Paris Saint-Germain looking to snap up Marco Borriello from AC Milan – Ligue 1 news
Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 suggest that ambitious Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain are considering making a bid for Italian international Marco Borriello.
Although it is still unofficial, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and will help in the recruitment process at PSG upon his
arrival. Before Leonardo’s arrival is made official, the PSG direction has already identified its targets for this summer’s transfer window.
28-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Borriello-c23672 is currently on loan at AS Roma from AC Milan. However, reports suggest that the Italian international might not be in AC Milan’s plans for next season and are looking to offload the player. PSG on the other hand, consider the
former Genoa striker as a valuable addition to the squad and are willing to bring him to the Parc des Princes this summer.
Rumours suggest that Leonardo has already contacted Borriello. However, it still remains to be seen if the Italian international would consider playing for PSG as the club has just purchased a quality striker in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721. Borriello spent the 2010/2011
Serie A season on loan at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 and scored 15 goals in 36 appearances for the Lupi.
The striker has not been a revelation during his time at AC Milan where he made just 37 appearances and scored only 15 times in three seasons. AS Roma do have an option to buy the player before the start of the 2011/2012 Serie A season but general consensus
is that the capital club might not be looking to make Borriello’s loan deal permanent.
Just like Paris Saint-Germain, AS Roma is also under a new ownership and it has been rumoured that the club would be looking to bring in younger players at the club who could take Roma to a next level in the coming years. Even if PSG do make a move for Borriello,
the Italian might find it hard to get regular playing time at the Ligue 1 side as the Parisiens already have three quality strikers in Mevlut Erdinç, Kevin Gameiro and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillaume-Hoarau-c15332.
