The versatile midfielder was hotly linked with a move away from La Liga giants Real Madrid with PSG reported to be the preferred destination. Furthermore, the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as the new manager of the Ligue 1 club made many people anticipate the
arrival of the former Ballon D’Or winner to Parc des Princes.

David Beckham politely refused PSG’s advances citing family reasons for his decision for signing a new contract with Major League Soccer Side, LA Galaxy.
Pato on the other hand, seemingly wanted to join the cash-laden side and even said that he would be open to a move to PSG. However, after a true-false start, the Brazilian was asked to stay at the club by none other than AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi

However, Infosport claims that PSG are not at all disheartened at being snubbed by two big players in a space of weeks. Though PSG are still itching to get their hands on Kaka’s signature, the club direction knows that they need to deal carefully with big
players in the future as media frenzy could also jeopardise a player’s arrival at the club.
Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho does not want to let go of the former AC Milan man but may budge if PSG come up with a good offer for a player who has seen his progress hindered since making a big-money move to the Galacticos.
Kaka on the other hand, has said that he wants to leave the club as a winner which means that PSG will have their work cut out in a bid to sign the midfielder.
