PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports claiming that the Ile giants are interested in bringing the Dutchman and the veteran Italian to Paris
Les Parisiens have been linked with a number of top brass players in recent weeks with the likes of Kaka, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and Andrea Pirlo, all being linked with a move to the cash-laden
club from Paris.
Paris Saint-Gemain, who have already acquired the services of highly-rated Argentine playmaker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, are still in the market for few more quality players.
According to reports, the Ligue 1 outfit is interested in want away Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, who has refused to sign a contract extension and is rumoured to be on his way out of the London club.
It has been claimed that Arsenal will eventually let the player go but will not sell him to any other Premier League club, putting PSG in a strong position to lure away the prolific striker.
However, Carlo Ancelotti has denied making an approach for the 28-year-old. The astute tactician has revealed that the Dutchman is not on his shopping list and reports linking the player with a move to PSG hold no truth.
"Van Persie is not a target of ours, but I think he is for other clubs," Ancelotti told reporters.
More recently, Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo. Pirlo, who enjoyed a tremendous Euro 2012 campaign has alerted many top clubs and reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 claimed that the capital club is interested in attaining
the services of the Juventus player.
While talking to reporters, Carlo Ancelotti, who has previously coached Pirlo for eight years during his time at AC Milan, has rubbished such reports.
The former Italian international rates Pirlo in very high regards but feels that the player will not fit in his long-term plans for Les Parisiens.
"Pirlo is an interesting player for any club, but I have had the chance to coach him for eight years and that is enough."
Paris Saint-Germain are set to start their 2012/2013 campaign on August 12 and Carlo Ancelotti would want to sign a few more players before his side’s first match of the season.
