In the recently-concluded January transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a host of top strikers.

The Turk never really wanted to leave the club but in the end, he was forced out of the club. Now, Carlo Ancelotti will have to be heavily reliant on the striker

However, PSG were also keeping tabs on Inter Milan striker Diego Milito last summer. The 32-year-old has scored 12 goals in 17 Serie A games for Claudio Ranieri’s side so far this season and was contacted by the Ligue 1 giants over a possible move to Parc
des Princes.
However, the Argentine chose not to leave Inter Milan halfway through a tricky campaign in which his side has struggled a lot.
Reports suggested that PSG will come back for the former Genoa striker in the summer transfer window.
While talking to the media, Carlo Ancelotti quashed rumours linking the club with the South American in the January transfer window.
“I do not know if the club sought to sign Diego Milito last summer. But it January, this was not the case and I do not think we will try to get him in the future, simply because we want young attackers,” launched Ancelotti thus defining the club’s transfer
strategy for the future.
