Paris Saint-Germain owners dream of Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger – Ligue 1 news
Paris Saint-Germain’s new owners, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 manager, Arsene Wenger.
QSI took ownership of Les Parisiens early this summer and have revolutionised the capital club by spending more than 80 million Euros in the summer transfer window.
Chairman of QSI, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, is aiming to make PSG one of the best clubs in Europe. According to Canal+, the crown prince of Qatar has named several candidates for the future coaching position at Parc des Princes. Jose Mourinho seems
to be the prime target of the Sheikh.
In an interview, advisor to QSI, Djamel Belmadi, confirmed the wishes of the Sheikh saying, “Whether it is Wenger or Jose Mourinho both of them are important personalities in football. The Sheikh wants the best for his club, so it is clear that these names
have generated in his mind.”
He further added that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 was also discussed as a possible head coach of the capital club, but the sheikh did not give a positive response. Belmadi was quoted saying, “He wants the best, so maybe Mourinho, Guardiola or Arsene Wenger could join PSG.
The sheikh appreciates all these persons. So in future we can expect to see all these names in Paris.”
Chances of Jose Mourinho coming to Paris seem more plausible as Arsene Wenger has recently extended his contract with Arsenal, whereas Barcelona might not agree on parting with Pep Guardiola, who has taken http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 to a whole new level during his short
stay at the club.
The Qataris demand nothing less than three titles at the end of the season from PSG. So far, the current coach Les Parisiens, Antoine Kombouare, has been able perform along the lines of the objectives laid down by the management. PSG have been in fine form
of late and recently defeated Stade Brestois 1-0 in a Ligue 1 encounter.
Though Kombouare has done a fine http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 this season, it seems that the Kanak tactician’s future hangs by a thread. Rumour has it that Kombouare only remained the coach of PSG because the club could not find a high-profile coach this summer.
According to some reports, as soon as the club find a suitable candidate for the coaching position, the former Valenciennes man will be given his marching orders.
