Paris Saint-Germain readying a cheque of 11 million Euros for Adel Taarabt – Ligue 1 news
French media suggests that ambitious Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint-Germain are readying an offer of 11 million Euros for the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adel-Taarabt-c3610.
The Moroccan international is currently playing for newly-promoted English Premier League outfit Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 but has been linked with a move away from the Loftus Road in recent weeks.
The 22-year-old has been attracting considerable interest from the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 following his phenomenal performances that helped QPR win promotion to the Premier League.
French sports magazine L’Equipe suggests that Paris Saint-Germain are considering making a bid for the highly-rated midfielder and are reportedly readying a cheque of 11 million Euros for the Moroccan’s services.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RC-Lens-c40322 man had a successful 2010/2011 campaign with the Hoops and scored 19 goals and provided 16 assists in 44 games. The youngster is also keen on moving on to a new challenge in his football career and has many times expressed his desire to
play for a big team.
However, the youngster himself is not really sure about his future. In recent times, Taarabt has said that many clubs have contacted him. A few months ago, the 22-year-old was reported saying that Manchester United have been in contact with him.
“Nothing is official yet. I was once contacted after the match against Coventry in January. I do not know if I will be playing for QPR in the Premier League next season,” the ambitious youngster said while talking to British media.
Taarabt was first introduced to English football by Tottenham Hotspur in 2007 but he never really made a lasting impression under either Juande Ramos. After the Spanish tactician left White Hart Lane, the youngster again failed to impress Harry Redknapp
who decided to loan him to QPR who were playing in the Championship at that time.
After making 41 appearances for the Hoops during his loan spell, QPR chose to sign the youngster permanently on a three-year deal. Since then, the youngster has become an important part of the squad and the club is adamant to let go of their prized asset.
With Paris Saint-Germain already linked with a plethora of players in recent weeks, the speculation of Taarabt joining the Paris-based club should not come as a surprise as the club is bound to be linked with talented players from around the world after
the recent takeover of the Qatari Investment Authority.
